Community Supported Agriculture

What is a CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture is a great support for small farms. By joining the CSA in the winter months, when cash flow is at its lowest on farms, members help provide (literal) seed money to help us grow delicious veggies using sustainable growing practices that help build the soil.

How does it work?
CSA members purchase a share in the winter and early spring and pick up their fresh veggies at one of our farmers markets or box drop sites starting in mid-June. Shares vary in size and always contain a wide variety of locally grown produce straight from our farm.

Sounds great! How do I sign up?
To sign up check out our share sizes and choose the one that's right for you! Most of our pick ups will be free choice at farmers markets, but if you're interested in getting a group together (at least 5 shares) to create a drop site for pre-boxed shares contact us at farmer@rainwaterfarmsny.com
