Our farm shares allow you to purchase your food directly from the farmers who grow it. We use all natural farming practices and take care to protect our soil and local ecosystems. The farm share is a chance for our customers to invest in this practice, by committing to a weekly share throughout the farming season and providing the farm with a sustainable income to keep us growing and providing food to our community.
Please Note: There are a few changes to our Farm Share this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic!
Our shares were already set to be customized to your preferences, and instead of reusable boxes we will be providing them in paper bags with a sticker with your name. For Honeoye Falls we will accommodate curbside pick up and will bring bags out to your car.
We will be pre-packaging shares for the Westside Market as well. They are taking precautions to keep vendor stalls separate and will not allow customers without masks to enter the market. Please be ready to comply with all safety standards when you come to pick up so we can all stay healthy!

How our Farm Share Works with Harvie
What is Harvie?
Harvie is a software platform that helps CSA farmers meet their customers' needs through a customizable farm share program. When you sign up for a share, you will do so under our personal sign up page through the Harvie website. Each week's share will be based on your preferences. For example: don't like beets? You will never get them in your share! And each week you can further customize your share, as well as order extras if you like. Harvie gives you more choice and flexibility while still supporting local, seasonal farmers! |
How does it work?
After signing up for our CSA, Harvie will provide you with a list of all the crops that we grow and you will rate each item from 1 ("I never want it in my share") to 5 ("I love it!"). Based on your preferences and our seasonal harvests each week, Harvie chooses what will go in your share and sends a notification to you about your share. Each week you will have a window of time to make swaps, place a hold or reschedule your share, and purchase extras if you like. |

Our Farming Practices
We strive to use environmentally friendly farming practices in everything we grow. We farm on permanent raised beds without a tractor to avoid compaction and damage that can be done to soil health with large, heavy implements. Where possible, we apply permaculture concepts to help maintain the living networks in the soil that keep our plants healthy and nutritious. The less we disturb the soil the more it is able to develop robust communities of microorganisms that provide immense benefits to plant health.
One of the joys of farming is that you're never done learning, and we've committed to doing our best each year to improve our techniques and skills to help provide our community with beautiful seasonal vegetables, grown thoughtfully and with respect for the land and soil.
